Bromelain Forte
Product Description:
Bromelain aids in digestion, acting as a proteolytic
enzyme where additional Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) is not
wanted.
Why These Natural Ingredients?
The natural pineapple enzyme, Bromelain is widely
accepted for its role as a proven natural aid in support
of healthy muscles while providing the added benefit of
increasing circulation. The presence of fibrin in the
inflamed area blocks blood and lymph vessels which
results in swelling. Bromelain’s anti-inflammatory
activity increases the breakdown of the fibrin around
the inflamed area. Bromelain also blocks the production
of kinins— compounds produced during inflammation which
increase swelling and cause pain. Over 400 scientific
papers on bromelain’s therapeutic applications have
appeared in
medical literature since 1957, including a 1960 study in
which 78% of boxers receiving bromelain
showed all signs of bruising completely cleared within 4
days compared with 13% in a control group.* These
