7-ketogold™
7-ketogold™ (7-keto-DHEA) supports all
tissues that respond to non-aromatizing androgens. A
Natural metabolite of DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA (also called
3-Acetyl-7-oxo-dehydroepiandrosterone) has all the
benefits of DHEA but is not converted into estrogens or
testosterone, so it does not promote prostate
enlargement or cancer, breast tumors and other problems
that might occur if DHEA is converted to estrogens or
testosterone.
Function
Supports function of the immune system. Prevents muscle
loss (anti-catabolic). Reduces stress. Increases the
calorie-burning rate by activating thermogenic liver
enzymes. Improves memory. It confirmed that 7-keto-DHEA
does not raise levels of sex or other hormones or affect
blood and urine chemistry, at doses of up to 200 mg per
day. It cannot convert to estrogens or testosterone, so
it cannot promote prostate enlargement or cancer, breast
tumors and other sex hormone effects that may occur with
DHEA supplementation.
Active Ingredient
The 7-keto-DHEA 100mg is a metabolite of DHEA is a
natural, non-steroidal molecule that is produced in the
body from DHEA. This metabolite is chemically different
from DHEA and cannot convert back into DHEA in the body.
As humans age, natural levels of 7-keto-DHEA begin to
decline. Research in animals also shows that aging may
have an effect on the body’s ability to maintain optimum
thermogenesis (fat burning) activity. Recent research
indicates that 7-keto-DHEA may play important roles in
activating thermogenic enzymes and promoting weight
loss.
Studies indicate that 7-keto-DHEA may be useful in
promoting weight loss without the use of stimulants
while following an exercise program and healthful diet.
Research has also shown that 7-keto-DHEA may be very
helpful in prevention of primary Raynaud's attacks by
increasing the basal metabolic rate and inhibiting
vasospasm.
Several clinical studies have been conducted in healthy
overweight adults. In one double-blind,
placebo-controlled study, subjects given 200 mg of
7-keto-DHEA reduced body weight more significantly
compared with placebo while maintaining a diet and
exercise regimen. No significant changes in blood
glucose, hormonal levels, liver enzymes or renal
function were experienced and no adverse side effects
were reported. In another double-blind,
placebo-controlled study, after 8 weeks subjects on an
exercise program and healthful diet lost significantly
more weight compared with placebo. The natural
metabolite, 7-keto-DHEA, was again well tolerated and no
significant adverse effects were reported. Additional
studies indicate that 7-keto-DHEA cannot convert into
other steroid hormones in the body and does not affect
estrogen, testosterone or progesterone levels in the
body.
7-keto-DHEA may be a useful dietary supplement for
individuals wishing to support a healthy weight
management plan that includes an exercise program and
healthful diet.
